Join Property Council New Zealand and New Zealand Green Building Council for the 2017 Green Property Summit, a bi-annual event that focuses on commercial buildings, cities and communities. We will present and discuss the latest initiatives in delivering green buildings and precincts, retrofitting existing buildings, the business case and environment including incentives and drivers, policies and opportunities for green buildings.
The 2017 theme is Future Cities post 2020. In March we will investigate the challenges New Zealand cities are and will experience. We will be showcasing local and international case studies; and explore innovative solutions.
What will our cities look like in the future? We expect the key influencers to include climate change, technology advancements, energy efficiencies, development of urban communities and increasing use of rating tools.
One thing is certain; NZ has entered a period of unprecedented urban construction where smart planning can create healthy, productive buildings as a powerful platform for the future. To assist in understanding and planning for some of these changes, our 2017 Green Property Summit focuses on many aspects of urban renewal and development and to some extent, urban communities.
