The Homesick Blues

Occurring during the Festival of Architecture is a political debate on housing issues. The debate is scheduled in the run-up to the suddenly interesting general election. In attendance will be representatives from all the parties contesting election: National (Alfred Ngaro), Labour (Phil Twyford), Greens (Julie Anne Gentner), Maori (Carrie Stoddart-Smith), NZ First (Denis O’Rourke), United Future (Damian Light), ACT (Stephen Berry) and TOP (Geoff Simmons). The wrangling will be in the hands of Rod Oram.

This is an excellent opportunity to hear about policies intended to address the housing crisis in Auckland and other cities (now that we’ve all sort of agreed there is a crisis). The political sands seem to be shifting, and boilerplate answers and posturing no longer cut it. Be an informed voter and come along.
