About Tumuaki Te Kāhui Ora
Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will build and shape our new Māori Housing and Urban development branch. Bringing together the expertise and knowledge from a range of stakeholders to drive a system change for Māori housing and urban development.
Your leadership will support the development of skills and knowledge across HUD to ensure we deliver on Māori outcomes across all work programmes.
We are looking for a highly successful leader who has:
Proven success in a senior/executive management role
Built and led a high performing group to deliver collective results
Success leading strategically within an organisation, sector and wider system
Demonstrated expertise in Mātauranga Māori
An understanding of the importance of Mātauranga Māori in this sector
Established whānau, hapū Iwi and Māori networks and relationships
Understanding and experience working in government settings
